Ursula MARKOWICZ, born on May 14th, 1918 in Łódź/Poland (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Łódź/Poland, citizenship 1938: Poland), daughter of Zelman Markowicz (merchant), lived in Vienna's 9th district, Nordbergstrasse 6/9, was enrolled finally in the fall term of 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 1st year of her studies (fall term of 1937/38 was validated on February 7th, 1938).

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on April 9th, 1938)
