Hans MAUTNER (born on May 9th, 1886 in Budweis, died on June 26th, 1963 in Boston, USA) was lecturer ('Dozent') for Kinderheilkunde at the Medical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on April 22nd, 1938. He was able to emigrate to the USA.
