Franz MANDL, born on May 19th, 1913 in Horn/Lower Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Horn/Lower Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Hermann Mandl (manufacturer), lived in Wien 7, Burggasse 33/5, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 4th year of his studies (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on September 29th, 1938). In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
