Ludwig Karl LINDNER, born on September 24th, 1914 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Ludwig Lindner (civil servant), lived in Wien 10, Laxenburger Straße 79, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1938/39 at the Medical School in the 4th year of his studies (fall term 1938/39 was validated on April 24th, 1939). He was discriminated as a so called 'Mischling 2. Grades' and could continue his studies at first - valid until revoked.
Finally he could even finish his studies and he graduated on March 30, 1940. He was one of only two graduates of he University of Vienna who was even allowed to practice as a doctor ("Bestallung als Arzt") - this was denied to most of the other "Mischlinge".
But he also had to join the German Wehrmacht as a soldier "on probation" and was killed in action on November 23, 1941 near Tim at the eastern front.
