Max LASZCZOWER, born on August 31st, 1908 in Storoschynez, Bukovina/Austro-Hungarian Empire [later Storojinet/Romania, today: Storozhynets'|Сторожинець/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, citizenship 1938: Austria), son of Baruch Laszczower (merchant), lived in Vienna's 2nd district, Obere Donaustrasse 43/67, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 3rd year of his studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 8th, 1938).
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ("Abgangszeugnis") was issued on October 17th, 1940
