Ernst BEINHACKER, born on August 6
th, 1913 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Klosterneuburg/Lower Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Isidor Beinhacker (merchant, born on June 12
th, 1879 inVienna) and Adele Beinhacker (born on April 18
th, 1887 in Freiberg), lived in Vienna's 1
st district, Gonzagagasse 1/32 from 1932 on. After he had graduated from high school ("Realgymniasium" in Vienna 1
st district, Stubenbastei 6-8), he began to study at the Medical School of the University of Vienna in fall term 1932/33. He was finally enrolled in fall term 1937/38, officially in the 3
rd validated year of his studies.
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 15
th, 1938; Leaving Certificate ("Abgangszeugnis") was issued on June 22
nd, 1938).
He married Salka Meisels (born on January 1
st, 1914) on August 5
th, 1938, and they emigrated to South America in October 1938. They arrived in Argentina in 1939. In order to pay for the emigration of his parents and parents-in-law (on May 1
st, 1940, they arrived in Buenos Aires via ship), he had to work and couldn't continue his studies. His daughter Lucia was born on June 18
th, 1940, in Buenos Aires.
Together with his wife (and later with the help of his daughter) he had worked as a manufacturer of baby clothes. According to an information from his daughter, he always regreted that he never had the chance to finish his studies.
Ernst Beinhacker died on December 30
th, 1977, in Buenos Aires/Argentina of an heart attack.
