Rosa KUPFERSTEIN, born on September 23
rd, 1914 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Moritz Kupferstein (watchmaker), lived in Vienna's 5
th district, Siebenbrunnenfeldgasse 8, had graduated from highschool on October 18
th, 1934 (Realgymnasium Vienna 21) and enrolled for language studies at the University of Vienna in fall term of 1934/35. She was enrolled finally in fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 4
th year of her studies and took courses in German and English language and literature Studies.
She registered for the final exams ('Rigorosen') on January 17
th, 1938, but after the takeover of power of National-Socialism in March for racist reason she was no more allowed to take the examinations. She was forced to quit her studies and to leave the University of Vienna without graduation.
