Martin KUBIN, born on August 17
th, 1907 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Josef Kubin (1871-1943) and Franziska Kubin, née Kohn (1872-1957), lived in Vienna's 12
th district, Migazziplatz 6, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 5
th year of his studies.
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
He was deported with his parents on transport 43 train Da 522 from Vienna's 2
nd district, Rembrandtstrasse 2/6 to Theresienstadt [Terezín/Czech Republic] on October 1
st, 1942, and from there to Auschwitz-Birkenau [Oswiecim/Poland] on transport EQ on October 12
th, 1944 and from Birkenau to Kaufering III a sub camp of Dachau concentration camp on December 27
th, 1944.
Martin Kubin passed away on March 24th, 1945 in Dachau/German Reich.
