Alexander KOWALIK, born on February 15th, 1916 in Vienna (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), father deceased, lived in Wien 9, Gussenbauergasse 2/40, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Law School in the 4th year of his studies.

He was able to emigrate to Great Britain, but was interned as "enemy alien" and was deported on the "HMT Dunera" to Australia in July 1940. After his release he returned to England and was naturalized in 1950.
