Georg Joseph KIEN (born on May 10th, 1903 in Vienna was in 1938 employed as an unpaid assistant doctor ("Hilfsarzt ohne Stipendium") at the urological station of the  II. surgical universict-clinic (head: Prof. Denk) at the Medical School of the University of Vienna. He was persecuted in times of Nazism for racist reason as a Jew, lost his position and was forced to leave the university in April 1938.
