Emil M. KANEY, born on May 22nd, 1906 in Kiev/Russia [Ukraine] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for USA, Citizenship: USA), lived in Wien 9, Lazarettgasse 7, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 3rd year of his studies ('Absolutorium' was certified on June 27th, 1938). He succeeded in finishing his studies and graduate on June 28th, 1938 - because he was a citizen of a foreign country, he couldn't be restricted by the 'Nürnberger Rassengesetze'. But nevertheless he was not allowed to practice as a physician in the territories of the Third Reich.
