Helena KAHAN, born on September 16^th, 1919 in Warsaw [Warszawa]/Poland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Warsaw [Warszawa]/Poland, Citizenship: Poland), daughter of Marek Kahan (merchant in Warsaw), lived in Vienna's 9^th district, Universitaetsstrasse 6/8, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in hte 1^st year of her studies. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he she was forced to quit his her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on October 5^th, 1938).
