Dawid Menachem HUEBNER, born on October 14th, 1910 in Stanislau, Galicia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [later: Stanisławów/Poland, today: Iwano-Frankiwsk|Івано-Франківськ/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Tel Aviv/Palestine, citizenship 1938: Palestine [Israel]), lived in Vienna's 8th district, Tulpengasse 5, was enrolled finally in the fall term of 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 5th and last year of his studies.
In 1938 he was forced to quit his studies and to leave the University of Vienna for racist reason after the takeover of power of National-Socialism. But after numerous incertainties he could finally finish his studies ("Absolutorium" was certified on July 18th, 1938) and graduated on July 21st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a "Nichtarierpromotion", which included at the same time that he was banned from his profession.
