Cäcilie BARON, born on January 24th, 1911 in Stanislau, Galicia/Austro-hungarian Empire [later: Stanisławów/Poland, today: Iwano-Frankiwsk|Івано-Франківськ/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Stanisławów/Poland, citizenship 1938: Poland), daughter of Osias Baron (merchant), lived in Vienna's 2nd district, Leopoldsgasse 51/6, was enrolled finally in the spring term of 1938 at the Medical School in the 5th and last year of her studies (spring term 1938 was validated on August 23rd, 1938).

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ("Abgangszeugnis") was issued on November 28th, 1938).
