Stefan HOCK (born on January 9th, 1877 in Vienna, died on May 15th, 1947 in London) was Pd for Deutsche Philologie (Neuere deutsche Literaturgeschichte) at the Philosophical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university in 1938. He was able to emigrate to London/Great Britain.
