Sylvia Edith HIRSCHHORN, born on December 10th, 1911 in Tarnopol, Galicia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [later: Poland, today: Ternopil/Ukraine] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Brooklyn N.Y./USA, Citizenship: USA), daughter of Harry Hirschmann of Brooklyn, NY/USA, lived in Vienna's 5th district, Mittersteig 4/19, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 4th year of her studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 12th, 1938). In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he she was forced to quit his her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
