Egon HIRSCH, born on February 10th, 1917 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), lived in Wien 9, Alser Straße 42, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 3rd year of his studies and took courses in Pharmaceutics and Chemistry. He could flee to Great Britain but was interned there as "enemy alien" and was deported to Australia with the ship HMT "Dunera".
After his release he returned to England in 1941 and was naturalized in 1948. He deceased in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire in 1967.
