Ella HERZBERG, born on January 18th, 1917 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Isak Herzberg (teacher), lived in Vienna 2nd district, Karmelitergasse 5/9, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 3rd year of her studies and took courses in pharmaceutics and chemistry. In 1938 she was forced to quit her studies without a chance to graduate and to leave the University of Vienna for racist reason after the takeover of power of National-Socialism.
