Edith HERZKA, born on November 2nd, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Ing. Leopold Herzka (senior official 'Hofrat'), lived in Wien 2, Nestroygasse 6/7, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 2nd year of her studies and took courses in Chemistry. Edith Herzka married in Vienna in 1938 Hans Kömpfner, student of architecture at the Technical School in Vienna. Both could emigrate and lived in Buenos Aires after 1945 as Juan Kompfner and Edith Herzka de Kompfner. He gained his diploma in architecture 1949 from the Technical School in Vienna and worked as an architect in Buenos Aires.
