Eduard HELLY (born on June 1st, 1884 in Vienna, died on November 28th, 1943 in Chicago) was Pd for Mathematik at the Philosophical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university in March 1938.
He was able to emigrate to New Jersey/USA and moved 1943 to Chicago.
