Manfred Hugo HECHT, born on December 6th, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Maximilian Hecht (bank manager), lived in Wien 9, Liechtensteinstraße 20, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 2nd year of his studies.
He emigrated to the USA in 1938, but couldn't continue his medical studies. He became an opera- and musicalsinger and Cantor. Later on studied Clinical Psychology at the Columbia University and graduated there in 1958 (Ph. D.) and bececame a psychologist and psychoanalyst.
