Gertrud HAUSMANN (born on October 9th, 1908 in Vienna/Austria, died on January 12th, 2002 in Denver, Colorado/USA) was assistant physician ("Hilfsarzt ohne Stip."), at the 1st ophtalmoly-university-clinic (head: Prof. Meller) at the Medical School of the University of Vienna. She was persecuted in times of National-socialism for racist reason, lost her postion and was forced to leave the University of Vienna after NS-takeover of power. She had to flee from Austria and could emigrate to USA.
