Karl GLAESSNER (born on May 31st, 1876 in Prague, died in February 26th, 1944 in New York) was an extraordinary professor for interne medicine at the Medical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on April 22nd, 1938. He was able to emigrate to the USA.
