Adolf ARNOLD, born on October 13^th, 1910 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), began to study medicine at the University of Vienna in fall term 1930/31 after his graduation from high school. His father had already died, his legal guardin, merchant Wolf Einig, lived in Berlin. For a long time Adolf Arnold couldn't effort an apartment for his own, but changed very often from flat to flat. Within seven years he had several adresses, most of them in the 2^nd district. Since 1935 he lived in Vienna 9^th district, Sechsschimmelgasse 18. He was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 4^th year of his studies (leaving certificate issued on June 3^rd 1938). In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
