Ernst FRÖHLICH, born on February 26th, 1917 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Arnold Fröhlich (senior official 'Regierungsrat'), lived in Wien 7, Richtergasse 4, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Law School in the 3rd year of his studies (in the spring term 1938 he requested to continue his studies in the context of the Numerus clausus of Jewish Students, but was rejected). He could flee to Great Britannia  but was interned there as "enemy alien" and was deported to Australia with the ship HMT "Dunera". After his release he stayed in Australia and became a Barrister in Canberra. He deceased in Canberra on May 25, 2008.
