Friedrich FRIEDMANN, born on February 29th, 1916 in Stanislau, Galicia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [later: Stanisławów/Poland, today: Iwano-Frankiwsk|Івано-Франківськ/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, citizenship 1938: Austria), son of Sigmund Friedmann (janitor), lived in Vienna's 2nd district, Schuettelstrasse 18/X/8, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 4th year of his studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 9th, 1938).
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he she was forced to quit his her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ("Abgangszeugnis") was issued on May 20th, 1938).
