Alfred FRIEDRICH (born on September 6^th, 1896 in Knittelfeld/Austria, died on January 22^nd, 1942 in Briansk/Soviet Union [Russia]) was private lecturer ("Privatdozent") for medical chemistry and assistant teacher at the Institute of medical chemistry at the Medical School of the University of Vienna. He was persecuted in times of Nazism because of his political orientation. On April 22^nd, 1938 his "venia legendi" was cancelled and he lost his position in May 1938 and was thrown out of the university.
