Ruth FISCHER (married SCHWARZ), born on January 8th, 1916 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), died on April 28th, 1998 in New York/USA, daughter of Leopold Fischer (manufacturer) and his wife Elise Meyer Fischer, lived in Vienna 4th district, Wohllebengasse 4. She was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 3rd year of her studies (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on September 12th, 1957). Her older brother
Günther Fischer, who studied at the Law School, was also expelled from the University of Vienna.
She was able to emigrate and served with the British Army in North Africa during World War II.
In 1956 she married Leo Schwarz, with whom she was married until his death in 1995.
She succeeded to finish her medical training in Palestine [Israel] and later lived in New York, where she worked as a pathologist in several hospitals until her retiring in 1983. In 1985 she moved to Hamilton, Madison County, New York.
She died in New York on April 28th, 1998.
