Meÿr Berthold ANDERMAN, born on June 17th, 1913 in Brody, Galicia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [later: Poland, today Броди/Ukraine] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Szerbin Anderman (accountant), lived in Vienna's 20th district, Heinzelmanngasse 13/25, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 4th year of his studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 8th, 1938).
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ("Abgangszeugnis") was issued on May 31st, 1938.
