Albert EHRENZWEIG SEN. (born on June 29th, 1875 in Baden bei Wien, died on December 16th, 1955 in Vienna) was Pd. (ao. Prof.) for Zivilgerichtliches Verfahren und Versicherungsrecht at the Law School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on April 8th, 1938. He was able to emigrate to the USA. His son Albert Armin Ehrenzweig jun., who was "Privatdozent" for "Bürgerliches Recht" at the Law School, was also banned from the University of Vienna.
He returned to Austria in 1949.
