Alfred DOMINITZ, born on August 6
th, 1915 in Aussig, Bohemia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [Ústí nad Labem/Czech Republic] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Jarosław/Poland, Citizenship: Poland), son of Moses Dominitz (killed in First World War) and Rose Dominitz, lived 1937 in Vienna's 5
th district, Wehrgasse 31, 1938 in 9th district, Porzellangasse 49a/36.
He was enrolled at the University of Bresalu [Wroclaw/Poland] until spring term 1937, then changed to the University of Vienna in fall term 1937/38 to finish his studies at the Medical School of Vienna. He was finally enrolled in the spring term 1938 in the 4
th year of his studies (spring term 1938 was validated on October 5
th, 1938).
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ["Abgangszeugnis"] was issued on May 2
nd, 1939).
