Robert BRAUN, born on November 21st, 1893 (Citizenship: Austria), was empoyed at the University of vienna since 1926, from September 1st, 1930 on as laboratory assistant at the Institute for History of Medicine (head: Prof. Max Neuburger) at the Medical School of the University of Vienna.
In the aftermath of the "Anschluss" he was fired for racist reason and was forced to leave the universty.
He was married to Selma Braun, earned RM 173,- per month at the institute and liebe in the 1928 errected public housing in Vienna's 18th districht, Währinger Strasse 188-190/VI/17 (Weinhausergasse 2-4).
