Wilhelm WEISS, born on November 11, 1904 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna, Citizenship: Austria), son of Flora and Josef Weiss (merchant), lived in Vienna 2nd district, Praterstrasse 66. He wasn't enrolled at the Medical School for some years any more in 1938, but was preparing for the final exams ('Rigorosen'). He could finally finish his studies and graduated on October 31
st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a 'Nichtarierpromotion', which included at the same time that he was banned from his profession.
He was perpetrated by National-Socialism, incarcerated and maltreated. He was able to flee Vienna in the end of 1938. He emigrated together with his parents and reached Manchester/England, GB, on January 10, 1939. Dr. Willy Weiss couldn't recover from perpetration, permanently unable to work as a physician. He lived with his sister Margaret James (nee Weiß) in London.
