Eleonora WEISS, born on February 8th, 1918 in Senftenberg/NÖ (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Senftenberg/Lower Austria, Citizenship: Austria). She was the daughter of Jakob Weiss (locksmith in Senftenberg) and lived during her studies in Vienna's 7
th district, Döblergasse 1. She was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 2nd year of her studies and took courses in Romance languages and literature Studies and Exercises
First she could continue with her studies and enrolled for further courses in April and May 1938, but during summer 1938 she was forced to leave the university for racist reason. She could not continue her studies at the University of Vienna and had to flee from Austria.
Eleonora Weiß could emigrate to London/England in May 1939 and became a nurse.
