Hersch WEINGARTEN, born on May 6th, 1913 in Nadoworna/Poland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Isak Weingarten (merchant), lived in Wien 2, Große Schiffgasse 18, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 5th year of his studies and took courses in Chemistry. His younger brother Moritz Weingarten, who studied at the Medical School, was also expelled from the University of Vienna.
