Ernst Peter WEINIGER, born on December 7
th, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Hans Weiniger (merchant), lived in Vienna's 2
nd district, Glockengasse 18, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 1
st year of his studies.
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
He had to flee from Vienna and was able to emigrate officially to Palestine [Israel] via Trieste/Italy (immigration visa of September 15
th, 1938, issued in Trieste, certificate and entry permit of September 26
th, 1938) and later lived in Jerusalem.
He married Lucie Lederer (b. April 26
th, 1922 in Vienna), who had also fled Vienna, on September 24
th, 1940 in Tel Aviv, but the marriage was divorced on October 11
th, 1945. Both received their Certificate of Naturalization for the then British Mandate Territory of Palestine [Israel] on January 16
th, 1941.
Little is known about the rest of his life.
