Salomon (Solomon) TABACNIK, born on July 6th, 1910 in Raab/Hungary (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Hermann Tabacnik, lived in Wien 20, Raffaelgasse 18, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 3rd year of his studies.
After the "Anschluss" 1938 Salomon Tabacnik was able to emigrate to Great Britain, where he opened a company for leather goods manufacturing. In 1949 he submitted a patent for "Improvements in the construction of ladies' handbags".
On May 14th, 1956 he received the British citizenship.
