th, 1945 with his final thesis (Dissertation) from 1940: "
Die Gestalt des Koenigs in der attischen Tragoedie" in Classical Philology.
He entered the teaching profession in 1946 and was a high school teacher for Latin, Greek and German at the
Bundesrealgymnasium Wien 12 (Vienna's 12
th, Erlegasse 32-34, later: Singrienergasse 19-21) where he also retired in 1984/85. In 1985 he was awarded the Golden Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria. He was married to Dr. Stefanie Vosátka since 1965 and married Eva Maria Pangrazzi in St. Poelten/Lower Austria in 1985 in second marriage. He also wrote textbooks for the teaching of Latin at grammar schools. The last book to be published a year before his death was "Latein immer modern. Texte und Kommentar" (Latin always modern. Texts and commentary) by the Viennese publishing house Hoelder-Pichler-Tempsky (1997).
