Elisabeth STAMBERGER, born on May 14th, 1914 in Budapest/Hungary (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Lubotyn/Czechoslovakia, Citizenship: Czechoslovakia), daughter of Ing. Martin Stamberger (engineer), lived in Wien 18, Gentzgasse 127, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 5th year of her studies (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on September 15th, 1938).
Her brother Andreas (Andrew J. Stamberger, 1917-2003), studied technical physics at the Technical School Vienne and was also forced to quit his studies after a last examination on June 28, 1938. He could emigrate to England and became an author of textbooks.
