Johann SÖLCH (born on October 16th, 1883 in Vienna, died on September 10th, 1951 in Kitzbühel) was o. Prof. for Geographie at the Philosophical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university in 1938. He returned to Austria in 1939.
