Lily SIEGEL, born on September 20th, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship 1938: Austria), daughter of Joachim and Amalie Siegel, lived in Vienna's 3rd district, Seidlgasse 30, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 1st year of her studies and took courses in Mathematics and History. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he she was forced to quit his her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna. She had to flee from Vienna and was able to cross the border to Zemun, Serbia, but was arrested there and deported to camp Jasenovac/Croatia and perished in the Shoah.
