Heinrich SCHMAHL, born on December 3rd, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Friedrich Schmahl (civil servant), lived in Vienna's 8th district, Lerchenfelder Strasse 54, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 1st year of his studies. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (fall term 1937/38 was validated on June 24th, 1938, Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on December 23rd, 1938). He was deported from Wien 9, Porzellangasse 22/8 to Riga on February 6th, 1942.
