Markus ROTHBAUER, born on October 18th, 1912 in Dolina/Poland (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Dolina/Poland, citizenship 1938: Poland), son of Malthus Rothbauer (merchant in Dolina/Poland), lived in Vienna's 9th district, Wilhelm-Exner-Gasse 2/6, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 4th year of his studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 1st, 1938).
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ("Abgangszeugnis") was issued on May 6th, 1938).
