Abraham Leib RAUCHWERGER, born on May 15th, 1911 in Kolomea/Poland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Salomon Rauchwerger (merchant, died in 1936), lived in Vienna 9th district, Liechtensteinstrasse 23/14, was finally enrolled in fall term 1936/37 at the Medical School in the 5th year of her studies (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on July 18th, 1938).
Abraham Rauchwerger wasn't enrolled at the Medical School any more in 1938, but was preparing for the final exams ('Rigorosen'). He could finally finish his studies and graduated on July 21st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a 'Nichtarierpromotion', which included at the same time that he was banned from his profession.
