Kurt Raab

Kurt RAAB, born on August 22nd, 1913 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Simon Raab (merchant), lived in Vienna 2nd district, Nickelgasse 1, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 3rd year of his studies. He moved to Czechoslovakia and participated there in the resistance movement. Later he emigrated to the USA where he succeeded in finishing his medical studies, he graduated and became a physician. He lived and worked in Flushing, NY, Baltimore, MD and in Fresh Meadows, NY.

Kurt Raab died on February, 6th 2008 in Flushing, NY/USA.
