Karl PRZIBRAM (born on December 21st, 1878 in Vienna, died on August 10th, 1973 in Vienna) was ao. Prof. for physics at the Philosophical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university in 1938. In 1940 he was able to emigrate to Belgium. He returned to Austria on June 1st, 1946, and got back his position at the University of Vienna.
