Fredi OVADIA, born on September 7th, 1917 in Sofia/Bulgaria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Sofia/Bulgaria, citizenship 1938: Bulgaria), son of Bruno Ovadia (salesman), lived in Vienna's 9th district, Widerhofergasse 5/13, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 2nd year of his studies (spring term 1938 was validated on October 17th, 1938).
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he she was forced to quit his her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ("Abgangszeugnis") was issued on October 27th, 1938).
