Ella PALKER, born on January 31st, 1913 in Kolomea, Galicia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [later: Kołomyja/Poland, today: Kolomyja|Коломия/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, citizenship 1938: Austria), daughter of a civil servant, lived in Vienna's 14th district, Hadikgasse 150, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 5th and last year of her studies ("Absolutorium" was certified on June 11th, 1938).

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her nearly finished studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
