Feibisch BERGSTEIN, born on September 7th, 1912 in Bolszowce/Poland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Moses Bergstein (merchant), lived in Wien 2, Rueppgasse 17, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 5th year of his studies ('Absolutorium' was certified on October 29th, 1938). He succeeded in finishing his studies and graduated on October 31st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a 'Nichtarierpromotion', which included at the same time that he was banned from his profession. Feibisch Bergstein had to flee from Vienna and could emigrate to Palestine [Israel] and was granted a Medical License (DR3350) by the Palestinian Authority in April 1943. He practiced in Jerusalem.
