Bela ADLER, born on December 1st, 1914 in Debrezen, Hungary/Austro-Hungarian Empire (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Uzhorod/Czechoslovakia, Citizenship: Czechoslovakia), was the son of Josef Adler (merchant, traveller).
After he had graduated from secondary school ('Realschule') in Vienna 2nd district, Vereinsgasse 21, he began to study medicine at the University of Vienna in fall term 1935/36. Bela Adler first lived in Vienna 2nd district, Obere Donaustrasse 61/4, since fall term 1936/37 in Vienna 1st district, Lazenhof 2. He was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 3rd year of his studies. She was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
